Is an in-law suite the same as an ADU?
Usually, yes. An accessory dwelling unit (ADU) is a second home on the same lot. Whether a THiNQ unit can be permitted as an ADU on your property depends on your local zoning code.
Can the layout be adapted for accessibility?
Layouts, room sizes, kitchens and bathrooms are customizable. Tell us the needs of the person moving in and we will plan the specification with you.
What does the site need?
A prepared, level, accessible pad, a clear delivery route and utility connections by qualified local contractors.
How long will it last?
The steel-frame structure is designed for an estimated 30 to 40 year lifespan.
